Cookies & storage
SpellChirp sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers. That’s why you aren’t reading this through a consent banner. What it does use is ordinary browser storage, to remember your own words and settings.
What’s stored on your device

Are these cookies?
Technically most of them aren’t — they’re local storage and IndexedDB rather than cookies — but the rules treat them much the same, so we’ve listed them anyway. Every one is strictly necessary to do the thing you asked for: remember your words, remember your voice, keep you signed in. None of them tell us anything about you, and none follow you to other sites.
Getting rid of them
Clear site data for spellchirp.com in your browser settings and all of it goes. Saved audio has its own button in Settings → Clear saved audio. Signing out removes the auth token. Nothing here survives a cleared browser, because none of it lives anywhere else unless you created an account — see Privacy for that.
